Celebrating 6 Years of Creative Combinations Montana🎉

It feels a little wild to be writing this!

It doesn’t feel that long ago, 6 years. In the beginning of 2020 chaos, we were sitting in limbo… “Do we jump now? Do we not jump now?”

We had registered our LLC, the “Creative Combinations Montana” business name, got the website URL, began to set up the back end of the business in January and into February with plans for Nate to quit his job in March, while I (Kelsey) continued to flow my private massage therapy practice… and then… well you know what happen in March 2020.

So we waited a little bit longer, and officially launched Creative Combinations Montana from our cozy little 220 square foot back yard shop (with no vehicle access) in May of 2020!

And what an adventure it has been since!

Over the years, we have had so many incredible custom projects! From a steel hand rail on a spiral staircase, steel build outs of window and floor trim in homes, barn wood furniture packages like a barn wood bar with a built in wine fridge, custom steel and reclaimed wood dinning tables, white oak and steel bunk rooms, to artistic steel privacy panel sets around hot tubs, and so much more.

In the last few years, we have been creating more and more of our own original metal art, custom metal art, and custom metal sign work specifically.

We have been bringing our love for adventuring in the mountains, rivers and lakes of Montana, and appreciation for the beauty of our natural landscape into our metal art work, and having a blast doing it!

Our original process of “Think. Design. Create. Enjoy.” has evolved into our elevated process of “Adventure. Design. Create. Enjoy.”

Adventuring in the mountains, on the water, and in our beautiful Montana backyard, continually inspires us and our creative pursuit!

But the adventure doesn’t end in the mountains.

Owning, creating, running, and operating a small business, is a huge adventure in its self!

The highs are high and the lows are low.

The amount of blood, sweat and tears, joy, excitement, and gratitude, have all been beyond immense!

We could not do any of this without our incredible community and clients.

We want to say Thank YOU, so much for all of your support! For cheering us on, working with us, engaging on social media, sharing our work with your community, buying our artwork, and being on this wild adventure of life and business with us!

To celebrate, we are hosting a client and community appreciation party, to say thank you to YOU!

We will have elk meatballs, drinks, other tasty snacks, yard games, a chance to win a Lake McDonald steel wall art piece. Nate will even be offering shop tours to those who would like to check out where the magic happens.
